Polyporus' actions are to:

Leach out Dampness by promoting urination

Polyporus' indications, subject to differentiation as Stagnation of Dampness Syndrome and in appropriate combinations, are:
Oedema, oliguria, copious vaginal discharge, turbid urine, urinary incontinence, painful urination, cystitis, jaundice, diarrhoea.

Combinations:
Polyporus-MRL may be combined with Poria-MRL in the treatment of diarrhoea, oedema, oliguria and painful urinary incontinence subject to Syndrome differentiation as Accumulation of Dampness, with or without Spleen Qi Deficiency.

Polyporus-MRL and Poria-MRL may be combined with Cordyceps-MRL in the treatment of oedema in the presence of Deficiency of Kidney Yang.

Polyporus-MRL and Poria-MRL may be combined with Coriolus-MRL in the presence of Accumulation of Dampness from Deficiency of Spleen Qi.

Manufacturing Process
Polyporus-MRL is not an extract but instead contains both the mycelium and the primordia (young fruiting bodies) of Polyporus umbellatus grown aseptically into a biomass. The biomass is then manufactured into tablets, each containing 500mg.

Cultivation Process of Polyporus-MRL
MRL Ltd.´s Polyporus umbellatus powder contains both mycelium and primordia (young fruit body) cultivated into a biomass that is grown on a sterilised (autoclaved) substrate.
This cultivation process ensures the powder is free from contamination by other fungi and that pesticides and heavy metals are absent.

The cultivation system is proprietary, allowing for standardised production of Polyporus umbellatus. The powder biomass is then sealed in plastic containers.
