WuWei Zi 五味子(Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis) 1%
Action:
Tonify Kidney Yang, astringe the Kidneys, preserve the Yin, moisten the Stools.
Syndrome:
Kidney Yang Deficiency with constipation.
Disease specificity, (subject to Syndrome Differentiation):
Impotence, sexual dysfunction, constipation, irregular menstruation, senile weakness and debility
Cautions and contraindications:
Not appropriate in constipation due to Excess or Deficiency Heat.
