Basic Information:

The parent’s caress is the foundation of the child’s health.  Infant massage is a necessary skill for all parents.  It is one thing to love, but one must also know how to love:  this book teaches the way of keeping young children healthy and of restoring their health in times of sickness systematically.

Chinese remedial infant massage, or Xiao Er Tui Na, is a safe, non-invasive, low cost, and extremely effective therapy for the treatment of a wide variety of common childhood ailments.  Unlike Western infant massage, Chinese infant massage uses very specific protocols or treatments for specific ailments.  Most common childhood complaints respond in only one or two treatments.

In the book, Dr Fan teaches both parents and practitioners alike how to diagnose and treat the most common paediatric complaints with Chinese infant massage.
