At first I used to defy my gradually blurring  eyesight.  I thought, "If I just take my awareness to my eyes, surely I could remind them to see better".  I was right:  they did see better; there clearly was a link between my mind and my eyes.  Yet it's difficult to sustain that concentration; actually, I couldn't sustain it.  Very soon I gave up even trying.

Even a resistant fighter like myself had to submit one day, the day I bought my first pair of reading glasses.  I didn't like it, but consoled myself with having a comfortably mature image because of the spectacles, and enjoyed decorating my eyes and face  with my favourite frames. Of course the lens prescriptions increased:  it was still a downward spiral for my real eyes.

Then one day, 4 years ago,  in my wife's home town in Italy, the solution presented itself.  I was impressed......

The Department of Health earlier this year issued Procedure Codes for treatments and consultations of Chinese medicine and acupuncture.  This means that, if you wish to claim the cost of consultations and treatments from your medical aid provider, you may ask for the appropriate Procedure Codes as well as ICD10 disease codes to be added to your invoice.
