Medical aid Procedure Codes
The Department of Health earlier this year issued Procedure Codes for treatments and consultations of Chinese medicine and acupuncture. This means that, if you wish to claim the cost of consultations and treatments from your medical aid provider, you may ask for the appropriate Procedure Codes as well as ICD10 disease codes to be added to your invoice.

Read more>>This will not affect the cost of your treatment at this clinic and will enable you to claim at the discretion of your medical aid provider; ICD10 codes are zero-priced while consultation and treatment fees at this clinic are as posted in the clinic section of The Chinese Medicine Practice website.
You yourself need to submit your paid invoice together with your claim to your medical aid provider in order to claim towards what you have paid. If you wish to claim for treatments and consultations please let Reception know when you collect your invoice at the end of your clinic visit.
The cost of the herbal medicines themselves is not covered by medical aid.
